The Swedish Endowed Professor Chair at ITA in the Honor of Peter Wallenberg Sr. is an initiative of CISB and Saab to bring top researchers to Brazil with the purpose of creating and strengthening long-term collaboration between Sweden and Brazil on relevant research topics. The program is going to its 5th year of execution, during which it brought 4 Swedish professors to the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), and resulted in several fruits and spillovers for different sectors of technology.
The 2nd Workshop on Swedish Professor Chair Program at ITA, with the theme "Main challenges and benefits of BARC", will present the achievements of the last two years of program and follow up the activities of the Swedish Aeronautical Research Center (SARC), a Swedish initiative to encourage coordination and alignment of academic research in aeronautics and introduce the Brazilian Aeronautical Research Center (BARC) initiative.
