Prime Minister visits Brazil and Chile for cooperation in research and innovation

The Trade Council and a business delegation comprising representatives of nearly 30 of the largest Swedish companies are also participating. Among those, is the CEO of Lindholmen Science Park, Niklas Wahlberg. Over 200 Swedish companies are currently operating in Brazil, and trade relations are growing steadily. Since 2009, Sweden has a strategic partnership with Brazil in areas like trade, bio-energy, science and climate. The goal is to develop and strengthen this partnership in the future. Large investments, especially in infrastructure will need to be made in Brazil, and the Prime Minister hope that the Swedish expertise and technology could be of use.
