The Saab Brazil R&D networking meeting brings together researchers, supervisors and stakeholders in the national Brazilian program: Science without borders context. The meetings role is to promote R&D between Sweden, Brazil and Saab by gathering people involved in the Saab scholarship program, past, present and future, to meet and exchange ideas. After successful meetings in Sweden, now, for the first time, the meeting takes place in São Paulo, Brazil.
The meeting is the 7th in a row and focuses on the three years that the Saab Scholarship has been awarded to Brazilian guest researchers. It will also focus on the future and the coming fourth call that will be initiated in November of 2014.
The Saab Scholarship is part of the Science without Borders program from the Brazilian federal government that was initiated to promote international mobility of undergraduate, graduate students and researchers. Saab works together with CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico and CISB to receive guest researchers to Sweden and CISB member Saab. Currently there are Brazilian guest researchers at Chalmers, KTH, Linköping University, SICS, Blekinge University and Skövde University.
This meeting is for those who has been part of the program and those who want to know more regarding the R&D collaborations with Swedish Academia and Saab through the Saab Scholarship and how to be part of the future call.
